How katy Helps

One of the most difficult aspects of parenting is watching your child struggle and feeling helpless. Often, adolescence is a tumultuous time as children work to find their identity and navigate to adulthood. I have worked with adolescents that express feeling overwhelmed by all the challenges they face. The demands of school, social challenges, family expectations, and worries about their future are just a few of them. These challenges can have a significant impact on your child’s emotional health and behavior. As a result, they may struggle with anxiety, sadness, lack of motivation, depression, behavioral issues, and/or academic issues.  My goal is to help your child work through the struggles they are facing. As adults, we may not be able to remove the challenges of adolescence but we can help children manage them better. In a safe and secure environment, your child and I will work together to build coping skills that will help them pursue a happier and healthier life. I understand that seeking outside guidance can be difficult and daunting. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have, and we can begin the process of helping your child pursue a vibrant future.
