Let Melissa walk with you as your strengthen your skills and move toward full licensure.

It all started when…

you decided to become a therapist, a clinician, or maybe a well trained school counselor whose heart is serious about the mental health and overall wellness of others. Finding a supervisor can be daunting, how do I find the right one? What will supervision be like? How do I find clients?

You have come to the right place if you are looking for someone to collaborate with you, share insight, and encourage you in your journey to licensure. Along the way emphasis will be placed on ethics and the guidelines to keep you safe in your practice. I encourage research and also do some research myself to determine the best course of treatment for clients. While you are still responsible for attracting clients, I may have a few to refer as well.

I have a passion for school counselors who are looking for guidance to integrate counseling and addressing mental health needs of students while maintaining the other duties of a school counselor. I also welcome associates who are interested in how to grow their private practice and setting up an office once they complete licensure.

We meet for a 2 hour in-person group supervision session and then 2 virtual individual sessions per month.

Gathering your hours and gaining experience is a journey, and I would love to discuss this opportunity with you. Contact me at melissa@cultivating.live for more information.

Melissa was an incredible supervisor! Approachable, knowledgeable, and consistently supportive throughout the entire process. I’d highly recommend her to anyone seeking quality supervision or an amazing therapist!

“I cannot speak highly enough of Melissa as an LPC-S! Before we even started she took the time to meet with me, answer my questions, and guide me through the process of getting set up with her as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. During the time that I worked with her she was patient, understanding, and knowledgeable in helping me grow as a professional counselor. Melissa is truly a great mentor and professional and I would refer anyone to her seeking therapy or supervision!”
— Amy, former LPC Associate
Melissa McGee generously gave her time to speak with my graduate Family Therapy students about supervision after graduation and answer their questions. My students loved speaking with her and they appreciated her gentleness and time she took to provide her insights to their questions. We highly recommend Melissa for LPC supervision!
