Challenges are always a part of growth.

How do you feel about taking risks? Are you an ALL IN kind of person? Do you like to drive fast, sky dive, and try extreme sports? Are you a stay inside and do things that feel SAFE? Or maybe somewhere in the middle?

Does any of this sound like you? Try something new like a sport/activity where success is uncertain? Nope. Do something that might cause physical pain or embarrassment? Absolutely nope. Follow my heart and passions to create a business that is not 100% predictable but helps others? Maybe. Keep working at a job that keeps me comfortable financially but is causing me frustration and distress? Hmmmm.

Challenges are always part of growth.

Melissa came from a public education salary job of 14 years with benefits, helping students with their academic and social/emotional needs to a point that she realized she was burned out. She had streamlined all the clerical processes so that she could focus on students. She was fully successful being a school counselor. Yet, she was exhausted and frustrated many days. It was a challenge to continue to do the work when she desperately wanted a little more rest and mental energy to meet the needs of students, not the endless reports and check ins. She realized she was no longer aligned with this job. So, while she knew she would terribly miss her students, she made a leap.

She was risk ADVERSE. So how did she do it? She relied on the encouragement of friends and family, recognized what her life COULD look like. She decided she could GROW. She started seeing clients in the evenings after work and began moving toward resigning from public education and beginning her life as a business owner and professional counselor. She decided to take the risk of building enough business to pay the bills and eventually resume the benefits she was used to like insurance and retirement. She decided to step into who she was meant to be, deeply connecting with clients and using her own journey to help support those who might find themselves in relatable circumstances.

This mindset and personal experience led to her strengths in leading others down the paths of lifestyle changes and transitions.

What challenge are you facing? How can we help you GROW?
